Download an entry form if you missed the copy in your mailbox.
The Produce, Arts and Crafts Show takes place in the Memorial Hall as part of the Village Show. To ensure smooth processing of entries, please fill in your entry slips before arriving at the hall. Entries can be delivered as follows:-
– Produce and Art entries from 4:30pm ~ 8:30pm the evening before the show (6th September)
– Cookery entries can be brought to the hall between 8:30 ~ 9:30am on the day to allow baking time to cool.
Please note your postcode on your entry form to show you’re a village resident. Judging starts promptly at 10am and there will be an auction of all donated entries at the end of the day to help cover costs and raise money for the Village.
As well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placings in each class, a Produce Cup is awarded for the highest number of placings in each fresh produce class, a Silver Tray is awarded for the highest number of placings in the cookery class and a shield is awarded to the best overall photograph.
In the days leading up to the show there are children’s crafting workshops: 2nd & 3rd Sept. 2019. These are in three age groups and the art and craft work that the children produce form a super display for the show. Check your mailbox for details.
There is no charge although we do ask for donations to cover the cost of resources. We are also asking for all villagers to put resources aside for the children to use so please donate any Plastic Bottle Tops & Wool! Drop off with Susie Coyle @ Anley, Fagnall Lane, Winchmore Hill.
